A local business, SM Pro Make-Up, has been nominated for Irish Make-Up Artist of the Year award by Irish Wedding Diary. SM Pro Make-Up is owned and run by local woman Sarah Murphy.
Sarah, who graduated from Portobello Institute with a distinction in Make-Up Artistry, was immediately employed by MAC Cosmetics, where she remains as a Professional Make-Up Artist. Sarah’s passion for make-up has allowed her to succeed from the beginning of her career. Her interest in make-up and beauty combined with her experience in the industry has seen her develop her own identity as a make-up artist.
Sarah’s affable character, combined with her eye for detail has earned her respect and recognition within the cosmetic industry. In 2013, having set up her own freelance make-up business, SM Pro Make-Up, Sarah has spent the last few years providing a dedicated wedding service, specialist make-up lessons and workshops, as well as working on many editorial photo-shoots. During Sarah’s time working within the make-up industry, her work has featured in such magazines as Tatler Women, Image, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle UK, Flybe and Cara.
Her nomination for Wedding Make-Up Artist of Year is much deserved, and it is asked that the people of Dundalk log-on and support one of their own ahead of Friday’s closing date.
